This year’s Academy Awards were particularly sweet for director Martin Scorsese, who received his first Oscar in five nominations for his behind the camera work in The Departed, which was also awarded the Oscar for Best Picture.
Unfortunately for Scorsese, he won’t be able to relive the moment on YouTube or any other video sharing site anytime soon.

Yahoo may soon file opposition to AOL?s Instant Messenger trademark at the U-S Patent and Trademark Office (also known as USPTO). Yahoo?s Attorney David M. Kelly filed four separate requests for additional time to investigate the claim. AOL has used the term ?Instant Messenger? since 1997, though several adversaries disputed the term ?Instant Messenger? as a general phrase to depict text messaging services and platforms in general.

Recent reports indicate that Google gets ready to set up shop in Singapore. Google has yet to confirm the reports, but it seems that Google plans on building the first research and development center in Southeast Asia. Google?s director of Southeast Asian operations Richard Kimber told The Straits Times newspaper why Google would choose to develop a property there.
