Gail Mortenson recently filed a petition with the FCC asking that Internet Service Providers be required to forward email from a closed account to a new one. Katherine Olson of Minnesota thought she was answering a normal posting on Craigslist. The posting asked for a nanny and Olson had a background in babysitting, so she decided to meet the parents to check out the situation. Olson?s body was found later in her car in a park near the author?s house. The Police Department in Savage, Minnesota has searched the 19-year-old suspect?s house. I have written about blog security many times but before this past week, I couldn’t speak from experience. Here’s what happened to my blog, and how I fixed it.
Sometime last week, I started getting emails from people that when they accessed my site, their anti-virus software would tell them that I was trying to install malicious software on to their computers.
